Content

The goal of the Writing Café is to give you the opportunity to regularly devote time to your writing projects among peers.
Write on your project in a group, alone or in tandems. An expert will be present for some time slots to answer questions and provide brief one-on-one consultations (in both English and German).

The Writing Café will take place every Thursday !  You can work alone or in tandems. You can cut it short or stay longer. If you want to find a writing group just join one of the groups or meet others looking to start a new group. Either way, sign up and block a time slot for writing on Thursdays. On some dates that will be announced in advance the trainer will also offer short input on different writing topics per your request. The Writing Café will take a place in gather.town .
You will be provided with the passwort under "recources" after registering. Spread the word!

Starting time for writing groups:

1st group: early birds at 9 am
2nd group: morning ducks at 11 am
3rd group: lunch bees 1 pm
4th group: afternoon ants at 3 pm
5th group: evening owls at 6 pm

For each session we recommend: prepare your workplace, turn on an out-of-office alert, turn off your phone, and use the time to focus on your writing!

A trainer will be present on March 28 (6 pm)

Postdocs are wellcome to participate if places are vacant.

For workshops held online, participation is allowed under the following conditions: a working camera that is turned on and a microphone to allow active participation in discussions and group work. Headphones must also be used to protect other participants from office eavesdroppers. In this context, we would also like to refer to the rules for digital courses at Freie Universität Berlin (Code of Conduct).
