Content

Open Access means legally, technically, and financially free access to research publications, which is provided, for example, by open-access journals or publishing on institutional repositories. As part of its commitment to Open Access to research information, Freie Universität Berlin encourages all university members to publish the results of their research digitally in accordance with the Open Access principle without access restrictions. In this online seminar, the Open Access experts of Freie Universität explain the most important aspects and answer your questions about the topic.

  • What does Open Access mean and what role does Open Access play during the PhD?
  • What guidelines on Open Access exist at the FU, statewide, nationally, and from important (international) funding organizations?
  • What services are available to support funding for Open Access?
