Dr. Annette Klinkert is an internationally experienced networker, practitioner, facilitator and trainer in the fields of science communication, public engagement and knowledge-based urban and regional development. Since 2016 she is Executive Director of EUSEA, the European Science Engagement Association. Annette Klinkert is founder and CEO of city2science GmbH – Science Communication and Strategy Consulting in Germany.
The European Science Engagement Association, EUSEA, is an international community of public engagement professionals across Europe and beyond. The association comprises about 120 members, including universities, science festival organisations, science centres and museums, municipalities and NGO’s. EUSEA focuses on reflecting and developing dialogue-oriented formats of science communication, building relationships with researchers, policy-makers and stakeholders from scientific institutions, higher education institutions, municipalities and regions.
