The Care Concentration Gap describes the structural challenge that makes it difficult for caregivers to access deep, uninterrupted focus time. Even when time for work is physically available, it is often fragmented by the mental and emotional load of caregiving.

This workshop provides practical strategies for approaching academic writing and research with more structure and clarity, while navigating caregiving responsibilities. The focus is not on perfection but on a conscious approach to time and energy.

Target Audience: Doctoral researchers and Postdocs with caregiving responsibilities who want to cultivate a more focused academic writing and research routine, while acknowledging their individual challenges and structural barriers.
